Final event and exhibition of the works of the European project “Agency – Vote with her”
European Network of Migrant Women (ENoMW) together with Pangea is pleased to invite you to join us on Tuesday 28 May for the “Vote with her” event, dedicated to promoting and celebrating the political participation of migrant women with the Agency project, at the headquarters in via dei Ss. Quattro, n. 27/B in Rome, which will be held from 2.30 pm to 7.00 pm.
It will be an afternoon full of stimulating talks with the opportunity to network together with extraordinary women: Tahmina Ibrahim Khel (artist), Hadia Ibrahim Khel (gender team Afghan program activist), Yoselina Lopez Guevara(journalist-political analyst), Basira Taheri and Gulalai Hakimi (activists for Afghan women in Italy) and Fatima Zahara El Harch (PhD student in legal studies) who will present their political campaigns through a photographic exhibition together with the commitment towards a new gaze that encourages communities to take part in the European elections of June 08-09 2024, with the aim of creating and supporting more egalitarian and democratic societies.

15.10 -15.40 Yoselina Guevara Lopez, political journalist and Maria Ligia Uribe (remotely), Colombian militant in Belgium for 35 years, now candidate for the Brussels parliament
3.40pm – 3.50pm screening of the documentary “Senza Rossetto” by Silvana Profeta .A narrative of testimonies that unfold around the years preceding June 2, 1946, the date in which Italian women gained the right to vote for the first time.
3.50pm – 4.30pm Hadia Ibrahim Khel, anti-corruption expert and supporter of women’s rights, presentation of the political campaign The rebirth of women’s education and Tahmina Ibrahim Khel, Afghan graphic designer, artist and activist
4.30-5.50pm Basira Taheri and Gulalai Hakimi, civil society activists and defenders of women’s rights in Afghanistan
5.50pm – 7.00pm Refreshments and visit to the exhibition of the works created
